" The guardian of the light " critique of Liane Porger

A young couple is spending some holidays at the ocean side. There they meet an old Guardian of the Light, who wasn't talking to anybody since the death of his beloved wife and so he and the young couple become friends. Together they are renovating the old lighthouse and the old man tells wonderful stories and wisdoms out of his life to them.

Lots of simple, but just because that fact wisdoms of brilliancy. One of my most loved books and I read it without any break in just one night.

Big Loss:
I've read the book in German and guess it is written in a very bad translation. When I was reading another wonderful book "The Dolphin" from Sergio Bambaren, I already thought the bad German translation there isn't possible to become topped, but I must admit: it is!!!

My Valuation:
Lovers of lovestories and wisdoms are ought to read this wonderful book.
