String of Pearls

What happened to our love, what to our dreams?
Everything is gone, nothing left it seems.
Meetings were wonderful, like beautiful pearls on a string,
we've trusted into the future, without to know what it will bring.

When you're holding me tight, I'd think at your wife,
how can I take it away, the last happiness of her life?
It is not ethical to wait until you're finally free,
although you're the one and only lover for me.

Tears rolling down, but I'm forced it to do,
because I'm not allowed to wait any longer for you.
I must find a decision, time of tears and pain to stop,
and finish our wonderful string of pearls with a lock.
